聖靈 (87次在87個經節)
在希臘語中，有三個詞語是表示聖靈的。
最常見的形式是沒有定冠詞的“聖靈”(holy spirit)。 它出現了52次，第一次出現在馬太福音第1章18節，指的是基督。
第二種形式是“那聖靈”(the holy spirit)。在馬太福音第28章19節中，耶穌告訴他的門徒要奉父、子、聖靈的名施洗。這裡，定冠詞用來表示在五旬節之後只有一個聖靈，基督的靈不再被稱作“聖靈”。“那聖靈”這個形式被用了8次，全屬格中。
第三種措辭來自希臘語七十士譯本。它出現了27次，首次出現在馬太福音第12章32節。

當神是“主”時(在新約)，神的靈被稱為“那靈”。從舊約開始耶穌就被稱為“那靈”。
我們怎麼能確定，在五旬節之前把基督的靈描述為“那靈” 的經文是真的在描述基督的靈、而不是神的靈呢？ 好在保羅在他的書信中解釋了這一切。
將聖靈稱為“靈”的經文
